Adrienne Varnado Penley, DMD
Welcome to Penley Family Dentistry. I am Dr. Adrienne Varnado Penley. It is great to be back in my hometown of Picayune, MS. Growing up I attended South Side Elementary and Picayune Memorial High School. My parents are Richard Varnado and Grace Varnado. I am married to my wonderful husband Emmett Penley, who is also from Picayune.
My love for Dentistry started while Emmett and I were stationed in Yokosuka, Japan with the United States Navy. During this time, I had the opportunity to volunteer as a dental assistant with the American Red Cross. While assisting dentists, I witnessed the powerful results of a caring doctor-patient relationship. The fulfillment I gained when seeing the change in patients’ outlook that can accompany proper dental treatment instilled in me the desire to pursue a career in dentistry.
In 2010, I graduated from University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Medical Dentistry. My past experiences include volunteering with the American Red Cross, clinics that just focused on children and general family practices.
As a general dentist, I enjoy treating kids and adults. At Penley Family Dentistry we offer a wide variety of services to our patients; some of which are, Oral Sedation and N2O (laughing gas) to help ease anxiety, 6 Month Smiles Orthodontics, crowns, veneers, partials, dentures, implants and much more.
